Yes it is now late fall, and I am falling behind getting things done because it’s been raining and I have wanted to go outside. Today is sunny so I haven’t got that excuse anymore.
Yesterday was was very rainy, but there was a break and I got outside and had a lovely walk down by the train tracks. Oh, the trees… all the trees, the beautiful colours… and the day before yesterday I had another lovely walk where there were even more trees with lovely coloured leaves so I shall get some pictures together from all of that.

The geese and ducks were sitting in the mud down by the lake and I saw white tailed deer in the woods. Lots of crows and seagulls. And scarlet and golden leaves, bright against the sometimes blue (but usually grey) sky.

After I got home today, Miss Moffett began to mew nervously. I looked out the window, and saw dark clouds. Lightening flashed and crashed as the clouds passed over. She had sensed it was coming and that was why she was fussing. We sat together on the couch, until the clouds passed. Just a short storm. No power outage.
